Erment - Fragment of Temple 1857

Fragment of wall in a ruinous state with the exterior covered in carved hieroglyphs and chunks of fallen masonry in the foreground. Tall structures in the background to the left. The wall is part of the temple of war-god Montu at Armant, dating from the 11th Dynasty to the Roman period (c.2040 BC-AD 200) and largely destroyed in the nineteenth century.
